MJ’s Night Club

Club Policies

MJ’s Night Club strives to provide a superior service and environment to you our patrons.  Therefore, MJ’s Night Club may have to make adjustments in our day to day operations in order to accommodate various activities that take place in the club.

The following policies have been set forth by the owners and management of MJ’s Night Club and may be adjusted at anytime.  Every patron is subject but not limited to the policies listed.  Please read them carefully and please email the club with any questions .

Operation and Admission:

• MJ’s Night Club has the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.
• MJ’s is a non-smoking environment in accordance with Austin’s smoking ordinance.
• You must be 23 and up to enter but may be slightly flexible with owner’s approval.
• Everyone must have acceptable identification (state issued DL or I.D., and Military I.D.)
• We do not serve patrons that appear to be overly intoxicated.  These patrons will be offered a taxi and may be asked to relinquish car keys if necessary.
• Days and hours of operation including the start time of the admission charge are subject to change with short notice.
• The price of admission, tickets, and drinks are subject to change with short notice.
• The Guest List is decided only by the owners and no patron is permanently on the Guest List.  A new list is created every time.
• MJ’s owners and employees are not responsible for any personal items that are left, lost, broken or damaged at the club.
• Patrons may be asked to leave the club if they behave improperly and/or use abusive or threatening language towards anyone.
• Anyone that uses fake money, a stolen credit or bank card, or makes a request for purchases to be charged to a tab that was not authorized by the cards owner will be reported and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
• By entering MJ’s night club you are accepting responsibility for your own actions and will not hold the owners, and employees of the nightclub both inside and outside, liable.
• Partons that are photographed in the night club by designated photographers, may have their pictures posted on MJ’s website, Facebook or Twitter pages, or any advertisements for the club.  Please make a written request to decline use of a photo of you or one that you are in.  

Parking Lot:

• There will be no loitering in the parking lot.
• Valet Parking may not always be available.  Prices are subject to change with short notice.
• We are not responsible for your vehicle when it is parked in the club parking lot.  Please secure your vehicle and don’t leave valuables in your car and/or in sight.

Dress Code/Door Policy:

• We have the right to refuse entry to anyone for any reason.
• Grown, Mature and Sophisticated attire
• No Athletic Apparel
• No T-Shirts
• No baseball, skull, or wave caps
• No sneakers, house shoes, or flip flops
• No weapons (includes but not limited to box cutters)
• All patrons are subject to metal detection, and/or search and may be asked to open purses and any bags brought into the club.
• Dress code for patrons is subject to change with short notice depending on the event taking place and may be flexible at anytime at the owner’s discretion.

Parties:

• Full price for parties must be paid the by the Thursday prior to scheduled party date.
• Party section/tables may be subject to change with short notice.
• Requested party colors will be granted if available.
• Party deposits (half of the total party cost) will not be refunded if party is not cancelled within 24 hours notice.
• Parties booked prior to a special event being scheduled on the same night may be asked to change their party dates.
• A refund will be offered if you chose not to reschedule your party.
• Party attendees will be required to pay the regular admission or special event admission when applicable.
• Any food brought into the club must be approved by owners.

Special Events:

• MJ’s operating days, hours, admission, specials, and activites are subject to change due to special events and may be with short notice. 
• Special events, organization, or group events/gatherings may be scheduled with short notice.
• Live musical acts, and performance times are subject to change with short notice.
• Ticket prices, ticket selling dates and times are subject to change with short notice.
