JOHNNIE “JT” TYLER CO-OWNER

JT is a native of Louisiana and a lifetime member of the Who Dat Nation! He attended Dillard University and is U.S. Air Force, Retired and a past Master of Prince Hall Masonic Lodge.  JT has almost 14 years experience in the club business and has assisted NBA and NFL athletes in opening up clubs across the country.

He splits his time between San Antonio and Austin and has an adult daughter and son.

MICHAEL MONROE
CO-OWNER

As co-owner of MJ’s, Michael brings a touch of Austin flavor to his new club. Michael was born and raised in east Austin and is the middle child of 4 siblings.

After graduating from LBJ High school, he followed in his older brother’s footsteps and enlisted in the Marine Corps where he served 5 years in infantry. He was honorably discharged in 1991, and is currently an active law enforcement officer as well.

Although he is new to the club industry, he is not new to managing, organizing, and maintaining a business. He currently has several major security contracts with colleges, banks, churches, and V.I.P’s.  Michael often states that he and his business partner JT have brought to the table the best of both worlds.
